    The firm recently obtained a preliminary injunction enjoining animal rights protesters from obstructing NY horse carriage operators from conducting their business and requiring that the protesters remain at least 9-feet from the horse carriages and their customers.

    In mid-October, Terrence Dunn and Richard Bayer advised the second-largest container freight services (“CFS”) provider in North America as it was acquired by the largest CFS provider; the merger of the two operating companies will create the premier provider of outsourced import/export and value added warehouse and distribution supply chain services in North America, with 24 port and inland facilities.

    Jim Goniea and David Chaise recently obtained a dismissal of a complaint filed against a firm client in the New York Supreme Court by a landlord alleging breach of the lease.  The Court also denied the landlord’s motion to amend the complaint, effectively ending the case.

    EDG successfully protected a franchisor client’s interests by defeating a bankrupt multi-unit franchisee’s motion to sell 30 franchised restaurants to a secured creditor who intended to de-brand the restaurants and operate them.
